Since the Beginning of 2021, the Krasnodar Region Has Increased the Export of Wine and Champagne by a Third

The Krasnodar Region remains the main wine-growing region of Russia. In total, over the past 6 years, the export volume has grown 5 times, and last year, it amounted to more than 4 million liters.

In 2021, the export of Kuban wine and champagne increased by 33% in comparison with the previous year. For 6 months, winemakers delivered more than 2 million liters of wine products to 18 countries of the near and far abroad: Belarus, Estonia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, China, Latvia, Slovenia, Norway, Switzerland, Japan, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Belgium, Israel, USA, and Canada, – the press service of the Administration of the Krasnodar Region reports.

In 2020, half of the export of wine products in Russia was made up of drinks produced in Kuban.

In total, in 2021, as part of the implementation of the international cooperation and export national project, the Krasnodar Region plans to supply abroad about 450 thousand decaliters of wine products (4.5 million liters).
