A new super-attraction the "Dragon Gorynych" – the highest slide in Russian with acceleration effect – will open at the "Sochi Park" on November 1.
Its height is 58 meters, and the length of the route is 1,056 meters.
The 20-meter figure of a three-headed dragon with glowing red eyes will meet the visitors at the start. During three seconds, the train accelerates to 103 km/h on the track from the den of the "Dragon Gorynych", and during 54 seconds, it passes slides with a height difference of more than 50 meters, loop-the-loop and spiral section of the route with the rotation around an inclined axis.
The attraction is designed and built by specialists of the MACK Rides – one of the main producers of attractions around the world. The company owns the theme "Europe Park" in Germany.
The "Dragon Gorynych" designed for visitors above 130 cm height and over 10 years old.
It is to be recalled that in September of this year, the "Sochi Park" started a unique free-fall tower "Firebird" of 65 meters height, and at the beginning of October, no less spectacular "Quantum Leap" – one of the most thrill rides in the world based on a roller-coaster – was started.
Despite its "youth", the Kuban theme park has already earned high estimate among professionals. In October this year, the "Sochi Park" was named as the best amusement park that was opened in Russia in 2014 on the basis of the international contest "Crystal wheel".
The "Sochi Park"" is a first theme park for family entertainment in Russia, all storylines of which are devoted to Russia, its cultural and historical heritage.
For the first time, the "Sochi Park" draft is presented at the International Investment Forum "Sochi-2010".
The park took its first visitors in February 2014, during the XXII Olympic Winter Games and the XI Paralympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi.
Official opening of the "Sochi Park" was held in the summer of 2014. The holiday collected more than 10,000 visitors.
